Lead from the inside.
ZeroBlue offers four band-specific AI literacy certifications — Elementary (K–2), Upper Elementary (3–5), Middle School (6–8), and High School (9–12). Six modules plus a performance capstone. Self-paced. PD hours documented. Bring it back to your building.
No scheduling. No cohorts. No subs required. Start any time.
Educators are expected to guide students
through AI — with no training of their own.
Every K–12 educator in the country is navigating AI in the classroom right now. Almost none of them have received structured, verified preparation to do it well.
- No formal AI literacy training — just informal research on your own time
- No consistent policy understanding across your school or department
- Academic integrity questions with no clear framework to answer them
- No documented credential — PD time spent, nothing earned
- Guessing at what AI tools are appropriate for which grade levels
- No connection to other educators navigating the same challenges
- Structured, band-specific curriculum from AI foundations through classroom integration
- A policy and privacy module built for district compliance realities
- A concrete academic integrity framework you can actually apply
- Verifiable digital credential with documented PD hours
- Subject-specific AI integration strategies for your classroom
- Private district community — practice with colleagues, not strangers
Six modules plus a capstone.
Calibrated for the grades you teach.
Every educator cert follows a 6-module structure plus a performance capstone, self-paced and asynchronous. Content is calibrated for the age band you teach — a K–2 teacher’s AI ethics discussion looks different from a high school teacher’s, and the certification reflects that. No live sessions, no cohorts, no subs required.
Everything that comes
with your certification.
Verifiable Digital Credential
Every certificate is publicly verifiable at zeroblueai.com/verify. Share a link with your principal, HR, or LinkedIn profile. Credential IDs are permanent.
Documented PD Hours
Your ZeroBlue educator certification generates a professional development hours record you can submit to your district HR department or include in your annual evaluation documentation.
LinkedIn Badge & Shareable Certificate
A shareable digital badge and formatted certificate ready to post to LinkedIn, include in a portfolio, or email to your department head.
ZeroBlue Community Access
Join the open practice community where educators, professionals, and students share working prompts and real classroom experiences. Districts get a private group where your teachers discuss AI practice internally.
Annual Renewal Included
AI evolves fast. Annual renewal keeps your credential current with a lighter 2-module refresh covering new tools, updated case studies, and emerging policy changes. Renewal is included in your district site license.
ZeroBlue Resource Library
Prompt templates, classroom AI guides, policy document samples, and subject-specific AI integration references — available throughout your membership.
Every ZeroBlue educator cert aligns

Full alignment documentation is available upon request for district curriculum reviews and Title II-A professional development funding applications.

Access through your district’s site license
Your district provides an invite token that activates your certification seat. No individual payment, no account setup friction — your district’s license covers you.
Complete 6 self-paced modules
Work through modules in order, on your own schedule. Most educators complete their band-specific certification in ~12 hours across two to four weeks.
Pass the capstone assessment
Design an AI integration plan for your classroom or school. The capstone is performance-based — not a multiple-choice quiz.
Receive your ZeroBlue educator credential
Your verifiable digital certificate is issued immediately. PD hours documentation is generated for your records.
Through a district
site license.
ZeroBlue educator certifications are designed to be deployed across a district, not purchased one-off. A site license covers band-specific educator seats, student certifications K–12, ambassador program access, a private district community, and all annual renewals — with federal funding eligibility documentation provided.
